Straw and hay cheese

The combination of straw, hay and tradition gives birth to the cheese matured in Giara alla Paglie and Fieno. The shapes are wrapped in hay and straw enriching the dairy with the aromas and scents typical of nature.

The seasoning, which follows the strict rules of tradition, gives the shapes a different crust from the common seasoned keeping the inside slightly moist and tasty. A cheese to be discovered in the combinations you prefer, from honey to cold cuts. We recommend to taste it together with our angelic pear jam or our ciauscolo.

Weight: about 420 g

Ingredients: pasteurized milk and sheep milk, salt, rennet, selected lactic ferments, inedible crust.

Storage: to be stored in the fridge at a temperature of +2C to +6C, once opened it should be consumed preferably within a maximum of nine months.
